With the coach’s support, the Inviting Educator’s (IE‘s) Inquiry is narrowed down to a specific focus. Working on a specific, narrowed-down focus is more doable. There will be ideas and resources to address a specific focus. With a specific focus, progress can be determined.
Going forward, other specific foci can be addressed.

– How can we support students in following rules? might be narrowed-down to:
What can be done so students follow rules as they walk from class to class?
– How can students’ social studies (or any other subject) achievement might be narrowed down to :
How can students’ intrinsic interest in (a given topic) be piqued?
OR How can students be supported in strengthening their ability to logically explain their findings and conclusions?
OR What can be done to increase students’ careful completion of homework?
OR How can students be supported in memorizing a few essential facts or processes?
